Presidents Items

· Bill Brown reported that the casino trip is filling up. He also noted that he is looking into a trip to Delaware which would include the Air Mobility Command Museum and/or Heritage Park. The air museum includes the opportunity to go tour Air Force Two, the vice-presidents plane.
· Bill also reported that he is pacing an ad in the local newspaper as part of a membership drive. The ad explains the reasons why men might like to join the club. President Kille reported that Henry Leimkuhler suggested having a survey of members to see what other types of activities they might like to have in the club. It was pointed out that two surveys had been done in the past couple years with no response. One survey was on activities and the other on trips.
· Al Schmidt brought in samples of business cards touting the club website. Members are free to pick them up and hand them out to acquaintances.
· President Kille announced that Mike Underwood agreed to be the 4th of July parade chairman. Bernie Schaming, Warren Reintzel and Ron Howley agreed to serve on the committee. Bill Brown indicated that this year’s theme is Red, White & Blue. It was suggested in the past that we do a theme around Champ Goldie and Charles Legge will try to contact Champ.

Old Business

· Bill Brown showed the board the two apron samples that he received. After discussion, one of the aprons was selected and a motion was made to order 3 dozen in red with the club logo. The motion passed. Bernie agreed to modify the logo so that it will show up well on the red apron.
· Bob Parsons reported that the Spring Luncheon is all set. Bernie Schaming provided Bob with the calling lists for contacting members. Bill Brown reported that he is in the process of putting together the material for the video and that Lou Dunkle has agreed to narrate the video. He also indicated that Julia Chen will play the violin during dessert.

New Business

· Dennis inquired and Bernie reported that the directory will be ready for distribution at the spring luncheon. The directory is made up after the middle of April, reproduced at the Lutheran Church, and stapled at the club.
· Bill Brown received two telephone calls from the Haddonfield Foundation thanking us for selecting them to receive any memorial for deceased members when no other request has been made by the family.

The meeting adjourned at 11:00Aam.

Respectfully submitted,

Bernie Schaming, Secretary
