The board of directors meeting of the Haddonfield 65 Club
was held on Thursday December 1, 2016. President Wise called the meeting to
order at 10 AM. Roll was called and 11 members were present.
The secretary read the board meeting minutes from November
3, 2016. The minutes were approved as read.
Walt Baker gave the treasurers report and noted that the
cash jar proceeds of $127.60 were inadvertently omitted from the report. The
report was approved for audit with correction.
Trips
· Bill Brown reported that the
trip to the Chapel of the Four Chaplains was very good. Unfortunately, we lost
approximately $100 due to miscommunication on the cost of lunch. via email that
the trip to the CROC center in Camden was very successful and we made a $50
profit. Bill reported that participation in the trip to Doolans in Spring Lake on
December 6th.is well below what is required to break even. He
encouraged everyone to look for additional people to go on the trip. This was a
bit of a surprise since this trip normally sells out quickly.
Old Business
· Dennis Kille reported the
nominating committee recommendations for a slate of officers for 2017. The
recommendations include:

· Bill Brown reported that the Christmas
party is under control. Ken Landgraf will buy the products and make the punch.
Charles Legge reported that he has arranged for a Pine Barron’s quartet to
perform again this year. It was agreed that 1pm was a good time to have the
quartet arrive. A motion was made “To make $100 donation to the quartet for
their appearance even though they did not expect to be paid”. The motion
passed. Another motion was made “To make $100 donation to the Methodist Church
for the use of their facility”. This motion also passed. The secretary agreed to put together an
agenda for the party.

The meeting adjourned at 10:45AM.
