Presidents Items

Trips

· Jack Aharon and Bill Brown reported that the trip to the Air Mobility Museum in Dover Delaware was very successful.  The trip to the distillery in Camden was fun for those who attended. It also provided a lead for a speaker at the club. In addition to the trip to the American Music Theatre for the Christmas show with lunch at Shady Maple, Bill is looking into a tour of the Union League and Masonic Lodge in Philadelphia.

Membership

· Due to the increase in Haddonfield members, Henry Leimkuhler presented 2 non-resident applications for membership. Membership was approved for Ron Boerum and Joe Galliera. In addition, Henry presented an application for Don Gosnay for inclusion as a guest member.

4th of July Parade

· Mike Underwood joined the board to report on the 4th of July parade preparations. As of the time of the meeting we have 18 walkers signed up with a few more maybes. All arrangements are set. Charles Legge volunteered to get Champ Goldy to the parade. Mike and Bernie will be there early to secure our spot in the parade and park a car at the high school with cold water at the end of the parade.

Flea Market

· President Kille inquired about preparations for the flea market. Bernie Schaming reported that he would get an article requesting donations ready as soon as we find out the date and Bill Brown will get the article into the newspapers. In addition, notice will be included in the September newsletter. Arrangements will be the same as previous years. Mike Underwood again agreed to help get material from the club to the flea market and Jack Aharon agreed to help get the tables from the American Legion.

Barbeque

· It was agreed to target the September business meeting as a date for a barbeque at the club. In addition to the usual fair, Bernie agreed to provide a pot of smoked turkey chili.

Old Business

· Bill Brown reported that he has been unsuccessful at finding out where the tree is located that the club bought for the Borough last year. He has made multiple calls to Robin Potter with no response. The Borough has agreed to contact her.

New Business

· Neil Wise reported that he has speakers through August as well as additional contacts from Bill Brown.
· Mike Underwood reported that he noticed the flagpole at Crown Woods is in need of attention. We have not been notified of the date for the Borough clean-up yet.
